According to the USPS tracking site, my package of wonderful things from DealExtreme arrived where they were to be shipped to (where my mom works) at like 7 o’clock this morning, way before anybody was there. So, hopefully my mom could possibly find the wonderful notice and go to the post office and get it
Grandiose. Anyhow, it’s becoming finals week at school, and besides the fact that there’s gonna be 10 finals next week, the last couple of weeks of school mean that I have absolutely nothing to do, especially since a) the school blocks 99% of decent flash games
and b) their internet is being horrendously slow today for an unknown reason. Perhaps they figured out I was doing some speed testing and lots of surfing and trimmed me down a bit
because as far as I know, they have to pay by the usage, not a flat rate – which makes me want to download an obnoxiously large ISO file or something XD… Now that THAT is over with… I wish I was at home for a little while, so I could download and upload some cool flash games to the Webs site – which is how I get around all the wonderful filtering here, instead of 15 minutes of worthless Google searching for unblocked games
Also, I made a discovery two days ago, recommended for anyone with a Bluetooth enabled phone that supports DUN over BT and an unlimited data plan, and an iPod touch 2G/3G (it DOES work on the iPhone 2G/3G as well, not sure about 3GS, but if you have an iPhone, why do you need a separate data connection??), iBluever. It’s quite possibly the best jailbreak app out there – it’ll use the BT in your iPod to dial a data call and then you basically have an iPhone at your fingertips. Except, no mic, and no GPS, etc etc. I haven’t had the chance to use it much because of the limits on the demo, but it does work just fine. (see the next sentence as to why
) It’s $5 on the Cydia store, and I tried buying it this morning, but my internet wasn’t cooperating too well
One last thing: you do have to know your APN, BT PIN, dial number, and username/password, which can easily be found with a quick Google search of your carrier and phone model. Link to iBluever’s Blogspot: http://ibluever.blogspot.com/ This post was made from QuickPress, so forgive me for any wonderful spelling/grammar errors. Toodles.
